Apple iPod Shuffle 1st Generation

The 1st generation iPod shuffle, the first flash based iPod from Apple, may not be the flashiest iPod available on the market but it remains to this day one of the best Apple products ever released. If you consider the price of the iPod Shuffle 1st generation, it will be hard finding a better bang for your buck. With its incredibly slim and light design, its robust build and surprisingly excellent sound quality no other flash based mp3 player on the market comes close to the iPod shuffle.

Apple iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation

Apple's recently released 2nd generation iPod shuffle coming in at approximately one third the size of the 1st generation shuffle is no bigger than a matchbook. Aside the completely revamped design and the dock station for charging and transferring songs, this new shuffle does not offer much more. The performance specifications remain the same, as does the stated playback time. Like its predecessor however it is miles ahead of the pack in terms of performance and design, and the new size makes it even more convenient to take with you anywhere you go.
